Seasons in the Central Coast

Endless Ways to Play, Any Time of the Year

Most may think that summer is the best time to visit the Central Coast to enjoy our gorgeous beaches and sunny weather, but every time of the year here offers amazing opportunities for fun and enjoyment. The beach views and gorgeous sunsets can be appreciated during fall, winter, spring, or summer, proving every day is a great one on the Central Coast. Many of the warm weather activities, like kayaking or stand up paddle boarding, are also still great options during those colder months to experience the Pacific Ocean.

Fall & Winter

Fall is a very special time on the Central Coast, with the perfect cool, coastal breezes and drier, hot days still lasting inland. The leaves boasting autumn colors and the vines changing mark the time of harvest, when wine tasting is greatest and the many festivals begin. From winemaker dinners, blending seminars, and pumpkin picking, there is no shortage of fall fun here.  As winter starts to cool down our surroundings, we love celebrating the holidays on the Central Coast with hot cocoa bars in our lobbies and the many parades, lighting ceremonies, and decorated houses that provide that festive feel. Regardless of what Martin Resorts hotel you're staying at, there is something merry and bright happening to put you into the holiday spirit.
