Avila Hot Springs
While you’re in town, treat yourself to some relaxation time at Sycamore Springs. Soak in the healing waters of the hot mineral springs while surrounded by the lush and peaceful hillside. If you are traveling with a bigger group, reserve the Oasis Waterfall Lagoon to enjoy a sparkling spacious tub under the stars. While you’re there check out their amazing gift shop full of local handmade goods and a wide variety of wines.
Avila Valley Barn
This adorable little spot right off Highway 1, is a great place to rest and check out the scenery. There are plenty of things to explore and enjoy with fresh fruit locally grown on the property, a chicken shack and smokehouse with the tastiest menu, and a fresh-cut flower shop. And if the kids are tagging along this trip, they will love the barn! The barn includes hayrides, farm animal feeding, pony rides, and more. Avila Wine Tasting
Another fun leisure activity is seaside wine tasting. After a long afternoon at the beach, head to Kelsey See Canyon Vineyards for delicious wine and cider. Sip on their new wine releases or their cider of the month while enjoying the beautiful backdrop of green vineyards and 200+ roaming peacocks! Every other Friday in the summer, they host live music.
