It goes without saying, we all have a little bit more time at home these days. For the Thrill Seeker: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End
Starring Johnny Depp, Keira Knightly, and Orlando Bloom, this third installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean series was nominated for two academy awards. Despite the title, this film wasn’t shot in the Caribbean at all – it was actually filmed right up Highway 101 at the Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes just outside of Pismo Beach. You can watch this movie on Amazon Prime Video, Youtube, or iTunes. For Date Night: Destination Wedding
Featuring Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder, Destination Wedding showcases the story of two wedding guests who develop feelings for each other during their time in romantic Paso Robles wine country. (How could you not fall in love here!?) Recently named #6 on The New York Time’s “Top 52 Destinations to Visit in 2020,” it’s no surprise the crew picked Paso Robles as their filming locale. Voiced by everyone’s favorite TV host, Ellen Degeneres, Finding Dory follows her quest to find her long-lost family as she finally remembers where she’s from – Morro Bay! For Mystery Lovers: Murder By Numbers
Starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Gosling, this film tells the story of two detectives solving the murder of a high school girl that was planned by two high school boys. This movie includes a trio of Central Coast cities as it was filmed in Los Osos, San Luis Obispo, and Morro Bay! Check it out on Youtube or iTunes.

Dina Mande is a director, producer, cinematographer, and photographer based in Paso Robles. She specializes in telling stories around the topics of travel, food, and wine. Her recent. Local Director: Chris Burkard
Chris Burkard is an accomplished explorer, film director, speaker, author, and photographer. With over 3 million followers on Instagram, Chris is somewhat of a local celebrity. Born and raised in Pismo Beach, Chris’ studio sits just behind the outlets near the 101, close to Pismo Lighthouse Suites and Shore Cliff Hotel.
