Paso Robles and Zinfandel wine have a long history that’s blossomed into a beautiful love story. As Paso’s first wine, Zinfandel has been here since the beginning—before the national recognition, and before the impressive titles. Beginning March 15th, we’d like to raise a glass to our region’s first wine with the celebration of Vintage Paso: Zinfandel Weekend.

It’s no secret that Paso Robles, California and the greater Central Coast area have become a nationally-acclaimed destination for foodies and winos alike. With most of the country’s fruit and vegetables grown in our very own backyard, we are spoiled with easy access to farm-fresh food thanks to our local Farmers’ Markets that occur weekly in almost every SLO County town.
With a bottle of wine by your side and a cool evening breeze in the air, dining al fresco – or “open air” – is a lovely experience in the summertime. Luckily, Central Coast restaurants make great use of its patios.
Here on the Central Coast, we’re lucky to be located near some of the country’s freshest farm ingredients. In an effort to highlight the abundance of local produce in our area, The Steakhouse at the Paso Robles Inn offers special menus that feature a “Local Featured Item” each month.
