Leading as Martin Resorts’ Chief Operating Officer, Margaret is the brains behind the operation of opening downtown’s newest luxury hotel, The Piccolo. With 24 years of experience in the hospitality industry and the desire for a new challenge, Margaret wanted to do something bigger than she’d ever done before. So that’s exactly what she did.
All good things start with a strong foundation. Never settling for less than the best, the team at Specialty Construction were the right men to help us build an authentic Paso Robles experience from the ground up.
Of all the wonderful things that grow here, the camaraderie that blossoms between our local artisans is our favorite byproduct. We were lucky enough to witness one of these partnerships grow between Lauren Dunn of Dunn Gardens and Pepe Sanchez of Deadwood Revival as they collaborated on The Piccolo’s 24 custom air plants.
Quite literally hammering away over the forge and fire, Santa Maria-based blacksmith Hans Duus has spent the past 51 years of his life carrying his Old World craft into the new age. Now, his work will shine at downtown Paso Robles’ newest boutique hotel, The Piccolo.
